New season, new menu with premium cocktails to discover now in our establishments. Today, we are talking about Frenchie, a very refreshing creation...
Le Frenchie, a cocktail made in France
What's in it? Grey Goose, St Germain liqueur, cucumber, mint, sugar, lemon and lemonade. An ultra fresh combo, perfect for this summer! But then why this name''Frenchie''? Quite simply because the alcohols used, Grey Goose and St Germain are French alcohols!
Focus on Grey Goose
Who doesn't know Grey Goose? Present in all bars and nightclubs, this 100% French vodka has established itself as one of the best in the world. It is made in the west of France in the small town of Gensac-la-Pallue, classified as the first growth of the AOC Cognac.
This alcohol has the particularity of being made with Picardy winter wheat. It is a high quality wheat, usually used in pastries. Unlike other vodkas, Grey Goose is distilled only once and very slowly, which helps to maintain the quality of the wheat. The water used to bring the drink back to 40° comes directly from the springs of Gensac-la-Pallue. When tasting, you can smell a subtle citrus note that appeals to vodka lovers.
Focus on St Germain liquor
Produced in a traditional way, this liqueur is the result of French expertise and presents a very particular production process. It is created from wild elder flowers harvested by hand in the Alps in spring. The flowers will then macerate for several days in brandy before being mixed with agricultural rum. It goes perfectly with whisky, vodka, champagne or gin, because it brings a fresh and perfumed aroma.
So how about a little Frenchie? ☀️ You can taste it in our bars in Paris or in the provinces, but also in our restaurant in Bordeaux.
