What is a real sports bar?
A sports bar where you can experience the game as if you were on the field! A place where you can scream, jump between fans and support your favorite team over a cold beer, a plate of deli meats or a burger.
Because not everyone has RMC sport or Canal+, we quickly find ourselves looking for the best bar to broadcast the evening game to meet up with friends.
Sport: the DNA of oz coffee
At Café Oz, sport is like a second religion: major sporting events such as the Champions League, TOP 14, FA Cup, rugby internationals, Formula 1, Roland Garros, Australian football and cricket are broadcast on giant HD screens.
In total, the Paris (Châtelet, Denfert, Grands-Boulevards and Rooftop) and Lille sites have more than 20 giant HD screens and as many HD TVs.
Focus on these "Australian" sports
Beyond rugby, which is THE national sport, Australians hide many other jewels, including the AFL (Australian Football League), more commonly called "footie", is a sport, created and played exclusively in Australia by Australians. This typical Ozzy sport, gathers no less than 18 teams and is played on a gigantic oval field (185m long and 155m wide) with nearly 40 people on the field (8 referees, 18 players and coaches' assistants).
Another jewel in Australia's sports world? No, no, no, it's not his beaches. It's cricket, of course. Australia is the world cricket champion and has won the title no less than 5 times since the inception of the Cricket World Cup in 1975.
The famous third half?
Once you have found your spot, you have called your friends and the game is over, you have to take advantage of the after game to celebrate the victory or support each other in the defeat, we do the 3rd half! To do it properly, nothing beats a good table with friends, with a good pitcher of beer or cocktails (with or without alcohol), snacking to share (deli board, nachos, chips, mozzarella sticks,...) and the oz coffee atmosphere that goes into clubbing mode at the end of the match with DJs (AC Majestic, Sonikem, Paul Keranne, Sly'D, Master Greg,...) and live artists. The atmosphere is assured!
